Ethical entrepreneur Priyanka Mehta is the new chair of the EO Belgium entrepreneurs’ network

Antwerp, 16 January 2024 -– The sustainable jewellery designer Priyanka Mehta has been appointed the new chair of EO Belgium, the Belgian branch of the international Entrepreneurs’ Organization. The young ethical entrepreneur seeks to double the membership of EO Belgium in 2024.
Worldwide network
EO Belgium was founded in February 2017 as the Belgian branch of the worldwide entrepreneurs’ network EO Global, which has more than 18,000 members in over 75 countries. The organisation supports entrepreneurs in their personal and professional growth. Members have access to a worldwide network of influential entrepreneurs such as Richard Branson and Yuval Harari. To join, a minimum annual turnover of 1 million euro is required. Priyanka Mehta will head up EO Belgium in 2024.
Successful entrepreneurship
In just a few years, Priyanka Mehta built up her own jewellery business Nue Fine Jewellery in Antwerp into an established brand in the sector. She comes with many years of experience in the jewellery sector, and has a strong cosmopolitan background. Before moving to Antwerp, she lived in Bombay, New York and Paris.

Great ambitions
Mehta cherishes great ambitions. During her period as chair, she would like to double EO Belgium’s membership. She is also expanding the annual EO programme. Every month, entrepreneurs can exchange experiences at the Forum meetings. Four international events focus on personal and professional growth. The first one in 2024 will be held in Switzerland. Alex Osterwalder, the founder of the Business Model Canvas, will lead an exclusive management workshop.

About Priyanka Mehta
Priyanka Mehta (°Antwerp, 1986) earned her Bachelor’s degree in political science, art and architectural history in 2008 from Columbia University (New York). In 2012, she became Operations Manager at the jewellery company Jaianco (Antwerp), where she has been Head of New Business Development since 2022. In 2022, she became chair of Marketing & Communication at EO Belgium. She succeeds Michael De Decker as chair, and is joined in the management team by Mieke Verstraeten from Induver (learning), Filip Smet from Amotek Technologies (membership recruitment) and Dominique Van der Velden from Anders Beton (membership recruitment).
